PENGARUH JOB STRESS DAN FATIGUE TERHADAP EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE DENGAN MEDIASI JOB SATISFACTION: STUDI PADA LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KELAS IIA PADANG

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan suatu organisasi, dimana dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai elemen psikologis dan lingkungan kerja. Stres kerja dan kelelahan sering kali menjadi penyebab utama yang mempengaruhi kinerja. Di sisi lain, kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai buffer yang dapat mengurangi dampak negatif dari stres dan kelelahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job stress dan fatigue terhadap employee performance melalui job satisfaction, serta pengaruh job satisfaction terhadap employee. performance. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 48 responden yaitu petugas penjagaan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Padang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan job stress berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance dan job satisfaction, fatigue berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap employee performance dan job satisfaction, job satisfaction berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance, job satisfaction tidak memediasi hubungan fatigue dan employee performance, job satisfaction berperan sebagai mediator hubungan job stress dan employee performance.
