Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 berperan penting dalam melahirkan Additive Manufacturing (AM) yang menggabungkan teknologi cerdas dan otomatis. Dengan mengingatnya, AM mengoptimalkan proses produksi, menghemat bahan, waktu, serta biaya, dan memungkinkan produksi massal yang disesuaikan dengan desain yang kompleks tanpa cetakan tradisional. Volkswagen Group, sebagai pemimpin industri otomotif, telah menerapkan AM untuk meningkatkan inovasi dan efisiensi. Teknologi ini digunakan dalam pembuatan komponen kendaraan, alat produksi, dan suku cadang, yang mempercepat pengembangan produk secara efisien. Sebagai bagian dari strategi digitalisasi diera Revolusi Industri 4.0, Volkswagen juga mengintegrasikan pencetakan 3D untuk memungkinkan kustomisasi produk yang lebih baik dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Dengan menggunakan AM, Volkswagen dapat merespons lebih cepat terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pasar dan memperpendek siklus produksi, menjadi elemen penting dalam mempertahankan daya saing perusahaan di era yang semakin maju. Teknologi ini tidak hanya memperkuat efisiensi produksi, tetapi juga memainkan peran dalam upaya transformasi digital perusahaan menuju masa depan yang lebih berkelanjutan dan berorientasi pada teknologi.
