WISATA ADVENTUR PENDAKIAN GUNUNG: PENGARUH HAMBATAN, MOTIVASI INTERNAL DAN EKSTERNAL TERHADAP KEPUASAN WISATAWAN

Abstract

Kekayaan bumi Indonesia dengan 400 lebih gunung membentang di berbagai pulau menyebabkan kegiatan pendakian gunung di Indonesia merupakan wisata petualangan yang populer. Segala kalangan dan segala umur menyukai kegiatan pendakian gunung ini meskipun mengandung risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor hambatan dan motivasi yang menjadi penyebab kepuasan wisatawan pendaki gunung, baik motivasi internal dan motivasi eksternalnya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada komunitas pendaki gunung di seluruh Indonesia sebanyak 100 responden. Hasil kuesioner diolah dengan SMART PLS versi 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hambatan pendakian berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan utamanya hambatan dalam keterampilan diri mendaki gunung, Motivasi internal dan eksternal memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan. Motivasi internal utamanya adalah dorongan mendaki gunung untuk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan ketangkasan pendakian gunung. Motivasi eksternal yang dominan adalah dalam hal dorongan untuk mendapatkan hubungan sosial persahabatan dengan sesama pendaki gunung. Hal ini memberikan implikasi bahwa sebagai kegiatan hard adventure maka agar pendaki gunung merasakan kepuasan, mereka harus mampu mengatasi hambatan baik berupaya meningkatkan keterampilan, menjaga stamina dan meminimalisir risiko, serta melakukan kegiatan pendakian gunung secara berkala agar semakin terampil, dan dapat menjalin hubungan baik dalam kegiatan pendakian dengan sesama pendaki lainnya.
