Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan tentang pengaruh hubungan masing-masing variabel X (Kompetensi dan Remunerasi), terhadap Y (Kinerja Pegawai), dengan dimediasi oleh Z (Motivasi). Adapun Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pegawai Kantor UPBU Kelas III di Wilayah Provinsi Maluku dengan status Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) sebanyak 134 orang dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 98 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, observasi, studi Pustaka. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi (X1) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), Remunerasi (X2) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), Motivasi (Z) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), Kompetensi (X1) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi (Z), Remunerasi (X2) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi (Z), Kompetensi (X1) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y) dengan dimediasi oleh Motivasi (Z), dan Remunerasi (X2) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y) dengan dimediasi oleh Motivasi (Z)
