Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan kunci utama dalam menghadapi tantangan global dan membangun generasi muda yang produktif. Pemuda sebagai aset bangsa memiliki peran strategis dalam mendorong kemajuan ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan SDM berbasis karakter dan kepemimpinan menjadi pendekatan yang relevan dan mendesak di era digital. Karakter berfungsi sebagai fondasi moral yang membentuk integritas, etos kerja, serta tanggung jawab, sementara kepemimpinan mendorong pemuda untuk mampu mengarahkan diri, memengaruhi lingkungan, dan menghadirkan perubahan positif. Tinjauan literatur 2020–2025 menunjukkan bahwa program pembinaan berbasis karakter dan kepemimpinan mampu meningkatkan disiplin, motivasi, serta komitmen pemuda dalam pendidikan, kewirausahaan, maupun kegiatan sosial. Pendekatan ini juga memperkuat keterampilan kolaborasi, komunikasi, inovasi, dan berpikir kritis yang sangat diperlukan di abad 21. Namun, implementasi pengembangan SDM masih menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan fasilitas, kurangnya mentor, dan minimnya konsistensi program. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sinergi komunitas, lembaga pendidikan, dunia usaha, dan pemerintah dalam menciptakan ekosistem pengembangan SDM yang berkelanjutan, sehingga pemuda dapat berkembang sebagai agen perubahan produktif bagi bangsa.
