Abstract

Kinerja karyawan mencerminkan hasil kerja baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas dan menjadi faktor utama keberhasilan perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan serta mempertahankan daya saing. Meskipun perusahaan telah menerapkan berbagai strategi peningkatan kinerja, tantangan seperti produktivitas yang fluktuatif, rendahnya inisiatif, dan keterlibatan kerja yang belum optimal masih terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan menggunakan data primer. Populasi penelitian mencakup 433 karyawan PT. Waleta Asia Jaya di Salatiga, dan teknik purposive sampling digunakan dengan kriteria karyawan yang telah bekerja minimal satu tahun dan memiliki penilaian kinerja rendah atau underperform. Sebanyak 100 responden mengisi kuesioner, dan data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Squares (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Selanjutnya, kemampuan kerja, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Analisis mediasi membuktikan bahwa komitmen organisasi berperan sebagai mediator yang memperkuat hubungan antara kemampuan kerja dan kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja karyawan
