Perancangan Data Mart Penjualan Pada PT. XYZ

Abstract

Di era digital, pengelolaan data penjualan menjadi vital bagi perusahaan dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang data mart penjualan di PT. XYZ untuk mengintegrasikan data penjualan sekaligus menyediakan sistem informasi yang mendukung pengambilan keputusan. Data mart berfungsi sebagai repositori terpusat yang memungkinkan penyajian informasi secara real-time, mempercepat pengumpulan data, serta meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan kecepatan analisis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Kimball Nine-Step Methodology, yang meliputi identifikasi proses bisnis, perancangan skema bintang, serta proses ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) menggunakan Pentaho Data Integration dan Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menganalisis data penjualan tahun 2022-2023. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data penjualan, yang mendukung PT. XYZ dalam mencapai efisiensi operasional dan memperkuat proses pengambilan keputusan.
