Abstract

Kehadiran smartphone telah menawarkan strategi baru di bidang teknologi pendidikan untuk mendukung inovasi proses belajar mengajar yang dikenal dengan sebutan mobile learning atau m-learning. Peserta didik saat ini sebagian besar memiliki smartphone bahkan beberapa peserta didik memiliki lebih dari satu smartphone. Namun, pemanfaatan smartphone untuk pembelajaran belum optimal. Hal ini karena aplikasi berbasis mobile yang menyediakan bahan ajar sesuai dengan struktur materi perkuliahan masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang aplikasi m-learning menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) dengan penekanan pada tiga tahap pertama. Hasil penelitian berupa prototype aplikasi m-learning untuk pembelajaran database yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan peserta didik.
