Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the results of the Analysis of Nursing Care for Clients with Post PCI Coronary Heart Disease with Hematoma Risk Problems Through Cold Compresses at Hospital X. The respondents in this study were 2 patients with a medical diagnosis of Post PCI who were treated in the 7th Floor Intensive Care Unit in June 2024. This study uses a comparative description method with the nursing interventions given, namely cold compresses at the post PCI incision site. The results obtained were that in patient Mr. T there was no widespread bleeding on the second day in the post PCI incision wound and for the second patient Mr. D there was a hematoma in the previous post PCI incision wound but it did not spread on the second day after the cold compress was performed. It is expected to be used as data in making appropriate policies to improve the update of Standard Operating Procedures in the management of post PCI incision wounds in patients. The conclusion of the study is that the application of cold compresses using ice bags and ice bags carried out for 15-20 minutes after PCI can reduce pain and prevent hematoma.
