Touch, Talk dan Skill Play terhadap Penurunan Kecemasan Anak Pre-School

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the comparison of the use of touch and talk Educational Games (APE) and play snakes and ladder skills to reduce levels of anxiety in pre-school age children. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design of two groups of pretest-posttest design. The results were obtained in the Touch and Talk Educational Game (APE) group before the intervention had an average anxiety score of 31.62. After the intervention was given to 17.31 with a p-value of 0,000, the snake ladder playing group had an average Anxiety score before being given intervention is 31.56. After being given an intervention, it becomes 24.38, with a p-value of 0,000. Statistical test results obtained p-value 0.001 <alpha (0.05). Conclusions in this study, there are differences between the APE touch and talk group and the skill playgroup playing snakes and ladders to reduce the level of anxiety of pre-school age children.
