Hubungan Antara Motivasi Kerja Dengan Kinerja Perawat Rawat Inap Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah X

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work motivation and the performance of inpatient nurses at Regional General Hospital X. The study design used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 88 nurses selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had high work motivation (59.1%) and high performance (70.5%). The statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) with an odds ratio (OR) of 7.185, indicating a significant relationship between work motivation and the performance of inpatient nurses. It can be concluded that nurses with high work motivation have a greater chance of demonstrating optimal performance. Therefore, improving work motivation needs to be a priority in human resource management strategies in hospitals.
