This study aims to analyze the factors causing the increase in pulmonary TB cases and assess the effectiveness of educational interventions in changing community behavior. The methods used include a mini-survey of 48 respondents, BLUM paradigm analysis, problem prioritization using the Delphi method, and identification of root causes using a Fishbone diagram. The results indicate that the increase in pulmonary TB cases is primarily caused by low public knowledge regarding the causes and transmission of TB, attitudes that are less supportive of screening and treatment efforts, and unhealthy behaviors such as not covering the mouth when coughing, spitting out phlegm carelessly, and poor home ventilation. Educational interventions based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle have proven effective in increasing community knowledge from 2.08% to 89.58% and have begun to generate changes in preventive behavior at the individual and family levels. The study concludes that this community-based educational approach has proven relevant to support pulmonary TB control efforts in community health center work areas.
