Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of interactive educational videos on preeclampsia in preventing the occurrence of preeclampsia in pregnant women. The research method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The results of the statistical test show an increase in knowledge (p = 0.000) and attitudes (p = 0.000) of pregnant women regarding early detection of preeclampsia, decision-making, and the ability to take immediate action when experiencing signs and symptoms of preeclampsia. Conclusion: The use of interactive pre-eclampsia educational videos as a health promotion medium has proven effective in enhancing the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women in early detection of pre-eclampsia, decision-making, and the ability to take immediate action when experiencing symptoms and signs of pre-eclampsia. Thus, it is expected to be beneficial in efforts to prevent the occurrence of preeclampsia and to develop sustainable maternal and child health promotion service programs, particularly antenatal care.
