Pelatihan Basic Life Support (BLS) terhadap Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan pada Perawat

This study aimed to determine the effect of BLS training on improving nurses' knowledge and skills. This research method used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pre-post test design. The results showed an average knowledge score increased from 64.07 before training to 94.06 after training (p=0.000). The skill score increased from 27.78 to 100.00 (p=0.000). A chi-square test showed a significant relationship between nurses' knowledge and skills in performing BLS (p<0.05). In conclusion, Basic Life Support (BLS) training is effective in improving nurses' knowledge and skills. Regular training programs and ongoing evaluation are needed to maintain nurses' readiness to face cardiovascular emergencies.
