Evidence Based Nursing Jacobson’s Progressive Muscle Relaxation untuk Mengurangi Kecemasan dan Depresi pada Pasien Dengan Hiv

Abstract

Kecemasan dan depresi yang tidak di obati akan mengganggu proses perawatan HIV dan mengarah pada ketidakpatuhan pengobatan ARV (Manavalan et al., 2023), penurunan kesehatan mental dan kesejahteraan pada ODHA berhubungan dengan jumlah CD4, dan jumlah CD4 yang rendah dapat menjadi indikator depresi yang tidak diobati (Ramirez-garcia et al., 2019). Jacobson’s Progresive Muscle Relaxation (JPMR) telah digunakan untuk mengatasi berbagai jenis masalah kesehatan termasuk untuk mengatasi kecemasan dan depresi pada pasien dengan HIV/AIDS. Dengan metode one group pre test dan post test, partisipan sebanyak 20 responden. Dengan kriteria inklusi pasien HIV/AIDS berusia lebih dari 20 tahun, dan mengalami kecemasan dan depresi. Sedangkan kriteria eksklusinya adalah pasien dengan gangguan depresi berat dan terdapat gangguan system neurologis. Menggunakan instrumen Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) untuk mengukur skor pre test dan post test terhadap kecemasan dan depresi yang dirasakan oleh pasien HIV/AIDS yang berobat ke poliklinik Wijayakusuma RSUP Fatmawati. Pemberian intervensi teknik Jacobson’s Progresive muscle relaxation pada pasien dengan HIV terbukti efektif, efisien merupakan metode non-invasif yang sederhana, hemat biaya dan dapat dilakukan kapan saja dan dimana saja untuk menurunkan kecemasan dan depresi pada pasien dengan HIV.
