Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of the zero-waste concept with the 6R principles (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace, Rot) in supporting environmental sustainability at Alila Villas Uluwatu, Bali. Using a combined qualitative and quantitative approach with SWOT analysis methods. the results show that the implementation of the 6R zero waste concept has been carried out well by Alila Villas Uluwatu through its current programs. The recommended development strategy is to strengthen education for the community and hotel guests and to add global certification to strengthen credibility. The conclusion of this study is that the program carried out by Alila Villas Uluwatu has proven to be effective in independent waste management and has a positive impact on the environment and the hospitality industry, but other development strategies are still needed to strengthen the strategies that have been implemented previously.
