ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze teacher resistance to the implementation of e-Learning as an effort to realize a paperless office at Darul Hasanah Islamic Junior High School in Semarang and to identify the causal factors and strategies for mitigating it. The research method used was a qualitative phenomenological approach through a case study. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, validated through source and method triangulation. The results indicate that teacher resistance is caused by three main factors: ingrained conventional work habits, fear of failure and inability to use technology, and the need for a sense of security related to the sustainability of the digital system. Efforts to mitigate this resistance include training (knowledge), providing supporting facilities and internet access (ability), providing incentives, decomposing tasks during system implementation, and strengthening implementation through the development of a structured schedule and periodic evaluations. The study concludes that teacher resistance to e-Learning can be managed through a strategic approach based on competency strengthening, supporting facilities, organizing implementation stages, and consistent madrasah policies.
