Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja dan Lingkungan Kerja Fisik terhadap Kinerja Guru pada Sma Pasundan 3 Cimahi

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and the physical work environment on teacher performance at SMA Pasundan 3 Cimahi, both partially and simultaneously. Teacher performance issues are evident in the high percentage of poor performance (41%) and the high rate of unexcused absences, which amounted to 110 times throughout 2024. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive and associative approach. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to the entire teacher population of 39 respondents using a census technique. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability using SPSS version 22.0. Data analysis was performed through multiple linear regression, accompanied by tests for normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The results showed that work motivation and the physical work environment partially had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, both variables also had a significant effect on teacher performance, with a regression coefficient value of Y = -6.560 + 0.659X1 + 0.597X2. Work motivation plays a significant role in improving teacher performance, as demonstrated by an average score of 3.29, in the moderate category. While the physical work environment is in the fair category, with an average score of 2.89. Therefore, increasing work motivation and improving the physical work environment are essential to support optimal teacher performance at SMA Pasundan 3 Cimahi.
