Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Organizational Support (POS), competence, and intrinsic motivation on the performance of Civil Servant (ASN) health workers at Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Brangsong District, Kendal Regency. The research method used was quantitative research with a survey approach and Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. The study population consisted of 112 ASN health workers, and the entire population was sampled using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using SmartPLS. The results showed that Perceived Organizational Support had a positive and significant effect on the performance of ASN health workers (β = 0.325; p = 0.001), competence had a positive and significant effect on performance (β = 0.369; p = 0.000), and intrinsic motivation had a positive and significant effect on performance (β = 0.277; p = 0.003). The R-Square value of 0.592 indicates that the three variables explain 59.2% of the variation in the performance of ASN healthcare workers. Competence is the variable with the most dominant influence on performance compared to other variables. The conclusion of this study is that Perceived Organizational Support, competence, and intrinsic motivation have been proven to have a positive and significant effect on the performance of ASN healthcare workers. Therefore, performance improvement can be achieved through strengthening competence, increasing organizational support, and developing intrinsic motivation in healthcare workers.
