Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Merby untuk Mengenalkan Olahraga Rugby pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of digital learning media MERBY (Mengenal Rugby) as a means to introduce rugby to elementary school students. The development of this media uses the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) involving sixth grade students from two elementary schools in Sumedang as trial subjects, namely SDN Sukamaju Sumedang and SDN Cipareuag Sumedang. This study applies a mixed method with quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Quantitative data were obtained through a questionnaire using the Likert Scale to assess the validity, feasibility, and effectiveness of the media, while qualitative data were collected through observation, interviews, and input from material, media, and language experts. The results showed that MERBY is feasible to be used as a learning medium. Validation by material experts increased from 92% to 100% after revision, validation by language experts reached 98%, and validation by media experts obtained 78%. At the implementation stage, the trial produced a score of 85.45% in small groups and 88.6% in large groups. Conclusion, Based on these results, MERBY is categorized as an effective learning media and is suitable for use in introducing rugby in elementary schools.
