Efektivitas Permainan Senam Ceria terhadap Peningkatan Aspek Kognitif Higher Order Thinking Skills Anak Kebutuhan Khusus (Tunagrahita) SLBN Cinta Asih

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Senam Ceria game in improving the cognitive aspects of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in children with special needs, especially mental retardation. Children with mental retardation have limitations in intellectual and adaptation aspects, so innovative and fun learning methods are needed to improve their high-level thinking skills. The method used in this study uses the Quantitative experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. pre-experimental research design and the sample used was seven mentally retarded children at SLBN Cinta Asih Soreang by total sampling. From the calculation of the Paired Simple T Test, the sig value was obtained Sig (0.00) < (0.5), so it can be concluded that HI is ACCEPTED, which means that in this study there is an influence. Conclusion: This research provides strong empirical evidence regarding the influence of the Happy Gymnastics Game in enhancing the higher-order thinking skills cognitive abilities of children with intellectual disabilities.
