Pengaruh Media Permainan Ular Tangga terhadap Keterampilan Motorik Kasar Siswa di SDN Cantel Cicalengka

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the snakes and ladders game on the gross motor skills of fourth grade students at SDN Cantel, Cicalengka. The research method used is quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design and a saturated sampling technique (30 students). This game is designed to improve gross motor skills through physical activities such as jumping, running, throwing and catching. Measurements were taken using the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2), and statistical analysis compared the results of the pretest and posttest. The results showed that the average pretest score was 61.57, increasing to 89.40 in the posttest. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed that the data was normally distributed (p> 0.05). The results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significant difference (Sig. 0.000), with the R-Square test indicating that the snakes and ladders game contributed 65.3% to improving gross motor skills. Conclusion, the snakes and ladders game is proven to be effective in improving students' gross motor skills and providing a fun learning experience.
