Tingkat Pemahaman Literasi Fisik Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Kelas XI SMA Negeri Kalisat

This study aims to determine the understanding of physical literacy in students of Kalisat State Senior High School. Measurement of physical literacy understanding using 9 items "perceived physical literacy instrument" (PPLI) which has been validated by previous researchers with a validation level of 0.82 (very good). The data collection technique used purposive sampling. The sampling technique used was total sampling from the entire population of 68 students consisting of 19 male students and 49 female students, with an average sample age of 18 years. Data collection of knowledge about physical literacy using a questionnaire based on the PPLI instrument and given to 68 students of Kalisat State Senior High School in Jember Regency. The total results of the entire study obtained a percentage of (21.1%) who answered disagree, (2.2%) who answered disagree, (29.28%) who answered neutral, (33.15%) who answered agree, and those who answered strongly agree the percentage was (33.01%). Conclusion,, Based on this study, it shows that although most students have understood the concept of physical literacy, there are still groups of students who need to improve their understanding through more effective and contextual learning interventions
