The aim is to identify key topics, influential authors, and impactful publications in this field. Data were collected from the Scopus database, and visualized using VosViewer with a focus on articles published between 2014 and 2024. The United States is the country with the largest contribution in terms of number of publications and citations, followed by countries such as Spain, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Authors such as Gil-Arias, Alexander, and Kavoura, Anna have contributed significantly to building an influential scientific literature. Analysis tools were used to evaluate citation patterns, keyword trends, and collaboration networks between researchers. The results show an increasing interest in gender discussions, namely gender equality, masculinity, femininity, and gender norms, as well as gender discrimination that occurs in the world of sport. These findings provide valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers who aim to increase knowledge about psychosocial factors that are news and discussed in the world of sport, especially the theme of gender stereotypes.
Key words: Gender Stereotypes, Bibliometric Analysis, Psychosocial Sport.
