Abstract

 This study aims to determine the activities and steps of basic swimming skills used in the school activity program at the Islamic Center Kindergarten. This research employs a qualitative and case study approach to investigate the events that took place. The swimming activity implemented as a school program at the Islamic Center Kindergarten has seven activities. This activity is carried out sequentially, starting with warm-up on land, wetting the body, warm-up in the water, bubbling, practicing freestyle leg movements, gliding using a float, and practicing in the pool's deep end. Conclusion: This study shows that swimming lessons at the Islamic Center Kindergarten in Samarinda help children learn basic swimming skills. Keywords: Swimming in Early Childhood
