Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe NHT terhadap Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Passing Bola Basket Peserta Didik Kelas X SMA 3 Amarasi Timur

This study aims to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of basketball passing of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Amarasi Timur through the application of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 25 class X students. The instruments used included a basketball passing skills test, a learning motivation questionnaire, and a student activity observation sheet. Data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the average value, percentage of completion, and percentage of motivation, and qualitatively by describing changes in student behavior in each cycle. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning motivation from 65% in the pre-cycle (sufficient category) to 75% in cycle I (good category), and increased again to 85% in cycle II (very good category). The learning outcomes for basketball passing also improved, with the average student score increasing from 68.4 in the pre-cycle to 74.2 in the first cycle, and reaching 82.6 in the second cycle. The learning completion rate also increased from 40% in the pre-cycle to 76% in the first cycle, and finally to 92% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the NHT cooperative learning model is effective in improving the motivation and learning outcomes for basketball passing among grade 10 students at SMA Negeri 3 Amarasi Timur. This model can be used as an alternative learning strategy in Physical Education because it improves motor skills while fostering student motivation, cooperation, and responsibility in the learning process.
