Pembelajaran Gerak Silat Tradisional MinangKabau:Study Kualitatif Aliran Pencak Silat Luncua

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the flow luncua taught martial arts in secret and discuss any form of martial arts movement luncua, and examines the meaning of each name and the meaning of the name of each movement Silat Luncua flow in Nagari Pauh Duo Nan Batigo district south Solok. The study was conducted using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques with participating observation, interviews, and documentation. The sample source snowball sampling determined that Wali Nagari Nan Batigo Pauh Duo, a former pupil luncua children, Children who are still active pupil and teacher of martial luncua. The process of data analysis was performed through the analysis of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the first of the findings obtained regarding the cause of martial arts taught in secret is to avoid being seen by children under age who do not understand the usefulness of the movement. Requirements to learn martial arts is a white cloth of mourning, a sharp knife, Rice, Rooster forms and kinds of motion present in the martial flow using only luncua sambuik (catch) that ended with a dead lock or a fault which resulted in fatal to the opponent so it will not be easy this martial releasing locks when it is locked, while the number of these martial catches totaling 30 catches a variety of techniques locks, catches the movement of all of this applies only to attacks that use traditional bare hands.
