This study aimed to examine the effects of target sparring and shadow sparring training on agility, aerobic endurance, and anaerobic endurance among kyorugi athletes. An experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design was employed. The sample consisted of 33 athletes divided into three groups: target sparring (n = 11), shadow sparring (n = 11), and control (n = 11). Agility was measured using the T-Test, aerobic endurance using the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT), and anaerobic endurance using the Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST). Data were analyzed using Mixed ANOVA at a significance level of 0.05. The results revealed no significant effect on agility (p = 0.536) and anaerobic endurance based on the time × group interaction (p = 0.188). A significant time effect was found for aerobic endurance (p = 0.025), although no significant differences were observed among groups (p = 0.308). Furthermore, a significant difference among groups was found in anaerobic endurance (p = 0.010), with the target sparring group demonstrating better outcomes than the control group (p = 0.009). It can be concluded that target sparring is more effective in improving anaerobic endurance among kyorugi athletes.
