This study aims to determine the somatotype profile of endomorphs and their performance based on the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) among young futsal athletes at the SMAN 1 Talaga Futsal Club. Futsal performance is influenced not only by physical condition but also by technical and tactical skills, as well as decision-making during matches. This study focuses on the relationship between the endomorph somatotype of young futsal athletes and their playing performance. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method and a Cross-Sectional design. The research sample consisted of 15 young futsal athletes from SMA Negeri 1 Talaga who were selected using a Purposive Sampling technique. Somatotype measurements were carried out using the Heath-Carter method through anthropometric measurements, while playing performance was measured using the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) which includes aspects of Decision Making, Skill Execution, Support, and Guard/Marking. Data analysis was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, and the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the help of IBM SPSS 25. The results showed that the majority of athletes have a tendency towards an Endomorph body type. The average GPAI value of athletes is in the medium category of 29.2. The correlation test results showed a correlation coefficient of -0.162 with a significance level of 0.564 (p>0.05), indicating no significant relationship between somatotype and the playing performance of young futsal athletes. Therefore, futsal performance is not only influenced by somatotype but also by technique, tactics, playing experience, and the athlete's psychological state.
