Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Outdoor Education learning model on fifth-grade students' interest in Physical Education at MI Nurul Islam Ganti. The study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group experimental design. The sample consisted of 50 fifth-grade students. The research instrument was a Physical Education learning interest questionnaire consisting of 24 items using a four-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentages, minimum score, maximum score, mean, standard deviation, and learning interest categories. The results showed that: (1) most students' responses were in the strongly agree and agree categories; (2) the average score reached 77.06 out of a maximum score of 96, equivalent to 80.27%; (3) 26 students were in the high category; and (4) 24 students were in the very high category. In conclusion, the implementation of the Outdoor Education model supports the development of high interest in Physical Education learning through active, enjoyable, contextual, and outdoor-based learning experiences.
