Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects felt after participating in power swing training and to analyze the impact of power swing training on changes in body composition, such as fat percentage and waist circumference. This study used a quantitative method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The results of this study indicate that power swing training can significantly reduce waist circumference. However, there was no statistically significant change in the average body fat percentage before and after the training program, with a significance value of 0.070. The conclusion of this study is that power swing training is effective in increasing core muscle strength and flexibility and has a significant effect on reducing waist circumference. However, it has not substantially impacted reducing overall body fat percentage.
