Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Small Group Discussion (SGD) learning model based on interactive video media in enhancing the engagement and learning outcomes of elementary school students. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation that were analyzed thematically. The research results show that the SGD learning model allows students to be more active in discussing, exchanging opinions, and collaboratively building conceptual understanding. The use of interactive video media enhances the appeal of learning, facilitates conceptual understanding, and strengthens students' motivation to participate actively. Conclusion: This study shows that the Small Group Discussion (SGD) learning model based on interactive video media has a positive impact on the engagement and learning outcomes of elementary school students.
