Implementasi Model Problem Based Learning Berbasis Etnomatematika dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif Matematis Siswa

This study aims to examine the differences in improvement between students who participated in ethnomathematics-based PBL learning and those who received conventional learning. This study was motivated by the lack of students' ability to think reflectively in mathematics. The method used was a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class, selected through purposive sampling. The results showed that the analysis using an independent samples t-test with IBM SPSS version 23 yielded a p-value (2-tailed) , meaning that H₀ was rejected while Hₐ was accepted. These results indicate a significant difference in improving students' mathematical reflective thinking skills. In conclusion, the ethnomathematics-based PBL model has been proven to have a greater impact than conventional learning, so that the integration of culture in learning can be considered an effective method for achieving this goal.
