Evaluasi Beban Kerja Fisik Pekerja Shutdown Area Fuji King Untuk Meminimasikan Waktu Produksi

Abstract

Shutdown pada PT. X merupakan aktifitas kerja yang dilakukan oleh para teknisi engineering subkontrak yang melakukan maintenance terhadap mesin produksi secara team work, dimana kondisi mesin produksi dihentikan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bagian wood preparation, yaitu pada area Fuji King. Pada area tersebut dibentuk 4 grup pekerja pada bagian-bagian produksi yaitu grup A (plate linning), grup B (rotor modul), grup C (chipper) dan grup D (cyclone). Aktivitas tersebut melewati target yang telah ditetapkan dan dari observasi awal ditemui banyak keluhan dari pekerja tentang beban kerja yang berat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung beban kerja fisik yang dialami pekerja area Fuji King menggunakan pendekatan Cardiovascular Load (%CVL) dengan cara menghitung denyut nadi dan konsumsi oksigen yang dikeluarkan (Energy Expenditure). Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa beban kerja fisik berdasarkan konsumsi energi tertinggi terjadi pada pekerja bagian Cyclone. Sedangkan pada bagian lainnya, diperlukan perbaikan (tidak urgent) dan konsumsi energi yang rendah. Analisa dilakukan terkait dengan temuan penelitian, kondisi tidak tercapainya target yang diberikan disebabkan bukan dari beban kerja fisik tetapi demotivasi pekerja yang kurang, salah satunya yaitu upah yang diberikan tidak sesuai standar pekerjaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi evaluasi bagi perusahaan untuk dapat mengurangi beban kerja dan memperhatikan sistem penggajian atau upah SDM sesuai dengan standar kerja yang ditetapkan untuk mendapatkan kinerja yang baik dari para pekerja
