Tantangan Integritas Akademik di Era Artificial Intelligence dalam Penulisan Karya Tulis Ilmiah Mahasiswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan integritas akademik yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam penulisan karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui Systematic Literature Review dan analisis bibliometrik dengan menyeleksi artikel dari basis data ProQuest dan ScienceDirect pada rentang tahun 2011–2025. Mengikuti pedoman PRISMA 2020, sebanyak 20 artikel terpilih dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tren publikasi didominasi oleh isu risiko plagiarisme, keaslian kepengarangan, dan etika penilaian, yang sering kali mengaitkan penggunaan AI dengan niat serta kepercayaan terhadap mahasiswa. Secara krusial, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pergeseran paradigma dari deteksi kecurangan menuju transformasi literasi digital untuk membangun kompetensi yang bertanggung jawab. Diskursus ini meningkat signifikan pada periode 2022–2023 dalam konteks pascapandemi COVID-19, ketika sektor pendidikan pada awalnya bersikap defensif dengan memandang AI sebagai potensi ancaman. Namun demikian, paradigma tersebut kini berkembang dari pendekatan sempit “anti-plagiarisme” menuju konsep yang lebih luas, yaitu “tanggung jawab digital”. Oleh karena itu, institusi pendidikan tinggi perlu melampaui upaya pengawasan pelanggaran semata dan berfokus pada pengembangan lingkungan pembelajaran etis berbasis literasi digital kritis, guna memastikan pemanfaatan AI secara bertanggung jawab, reflektif, dan kreatif.
