Pengembangan E-Modul Interaktif Berbasis STEM untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa pada Materi Struktur dan Fungsi Jantung di Kelas XI

This study aimed to develop a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)-based interactive e-module on the structure and function of the heart to improve the critical thinking skills of eleventh-grade senior high school students. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D development model, consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research subjects were 30 eleventh-grade MIPA students at SMA Swasta Prima Tembung. The research instruments included observation sheets, interview guidelines, needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and critical thinking skills tests. The results showed that the e-module obtained material expert validation of 92.85%, media expert validation of 97.91%, instrument validation of 87.50%, teacher response of 100%, student response of 90%, and an N-Gain score of 0.76 in the high category. Therefore, the STEM-based interactive e-module was declared valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable as teaching material to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and improve students’ critical thinking skills on the structure and function of the heart.
